Last week, experts from Simplus got together with Salesforce to host a Knowledge Circles webinar all about leveraging predictive analytics to supercharge win rates in Salesforce. If you weren’t able to make it, we’ve gathered a high-level recap below to showcase our team’s best practices for predictive analytics. You can also catch the webinar in full with this on-demand link. And stay tuned for more Knowledge Circles webinars from Salesforce and Simplus!

First, Steve Seo—Global Head of Business Transformation Services at Simplus—gave an overview of our Salesforce practice: we’re a comprehensive Salesforce partner with expertise across all products, and we’re a leader for AI specifically on the platform. Our approach focuses on business outcomes, rather than tech outcomes, so we make sure our client discussions are always business-first conversations.

Next up, Ahmed Abdellatif—Principal Solution Engineer of CRM Analytics at Salesforce—zeroed in on how predictive and generative intelligence can work together. Predictive intelligence informs based on what it has seen in the data (Einstein), while generative intelligence creates new things based on what it has learned (Einstein GPT). This powerhouse duo of intelligence can apply to every business function and industry.

Digging into the details, Honey Bhatnagar—Practice Lead of Data Cloud and AI within Simplus’ Business Transformation Services—explained how to use fast-start templates in Salesforce predictive analytics, showcasing how win rates can be maximized through the lens of both the sales manager persona and the data steward persona. The sales manager can monitor the pipeline during a particular timeframe to identify the most valuable deals, meanwhile, the data steward is empowered to managed the win rate model more effectively using an out-of-the-box Salesforce connector to enrich the data set and configure calculations.

Uday Trivedi, Principal Technical Architect of Data Cloud at Simplus, presented a demo that showed these persona journeys in action, taking the sales manager from pipeline analysis and opportunity review to coaching to prepare next actions that lead to a closed opportunity. The data steward, on the other hand, begins with a review of the win rates in the dashboard as well as the supporting data model, then reviews the recipe within Data Manager, takes a look at the data insights and field that may impact the win rate, and then update and trains the model with variables accordingly.

Finally, Nick Tidswell, Sales Director at Simplus, rounded out the webinar with insights on AI strategy and best practices. Of note was a client case study where legacy, manual processes were transformed into a frictionless revenue state built on a secure data foundation for scaling across processes and driving simplification.

The webinar was a dynamic learning experience for practical AI application that can be done in the market now and improve business outcomes. Using Data Cloud to combine everything from multiple sources, scattered information can be centralized for targeted analysis and successful predictive modeling.
