What do you do at Simplus?
I am a Principal Architect in the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) practice.
What are some achievements of which you are most proud? Both professionally and personally.
Professionally, I am most proud of the way my career has developed over the years and the network connections I’ve made.
Personally, being a dad and raising my three children: Laine, Lukas, and Liam.
What are your hobbies?
Any DIY project, woodworking, exercising, cooking (my passion outside of work), and supporting my kids in their many activities (go team Odegard!).
Why do you like working at Simplus?
Simplus is truly amazing and the people are top-notch. From day one, everyone I have had the pleasure to either talk to or work with have been so impressive and world-class. Simplus offers challenging work, amazing leadership, career development, and a great community support program.
Tell us a little bit about your professional background.
I started my career in 1995 after earning degrees in computer information services (CIS) and business administration, minoring in applied mathematics. Throughout my career I’ve had the pleasure of working with amazing people and creating both commercial and corporate solutions. I’ve always challenged myself, whether it be learning a new programming language, building career paths for others, creating GTM strategies, delivering strategic enterprise solutions, or learning upcoming technology platforms.
What do you feel are your greatest contributions that help make Simplus the best consulting firm?
What drew me to Simplus was the passion each person displayed. This complemented the passion I’ve exhibited while building my career and technical skillsets over the years, which was important as this passion created a seamless foundation.
As I continue to develop my career at Simplus, it will be focused on bringing value and achieving both the company’s and my department’s goals. In the CLM practice, it will be to develop scalable solution modules that provide foundational frameworks and streamline processes. In addition, identifying strategic partnerships in the CLM practice to complement and grow based on technology trends and client market identified needs. And to help build out the staffing needed to support our GTM strategies.
