At Simplus, the health and safety of our employees, clients, partners, and loved ones is top of mind. While there are no confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 among Simplus team members, we are taking additional preventative measures to minimize risk.
As COVID-19 evolves into a global health concern, we are proactively encouraging Simplus team members to work from home and suspend travel whenever possible. Simplus was designed largely as a remote workforce, and we do not foresee any disruption or change in output to our customers and their projects. Our technology is accessible from anywhere and through any device; our delivery model is distributed; and our virtual culture is strong. We are responding proactively and quickly as details are provided.
These steps were carefully developed by our senior leadership several weeks ago and broadcast to our worldwide workforce based on the communicated guidelines from global health experts. Our team is receiving company-wide updates, and our slack channel is monitored 24/7 to answer any questions as they arise.
“First and foremost, our thoughts and sympathies are with anyone who has been affected by the COVID-19 virus,” said Ryan Westwood, Simplus CEO. “As a global consulting company, we have been taking precautions for several weeks to minimize risk and are constantly updating our guidelines as information on COVID-19 continues to develop.”
Additionally, Simplus employees have been encouraged to maintain their personal workspaces and homes by regularly sanitizing and to immediately visit the doctor if they begin to feel ill.
“We are taking every precaution possible to protect our Simplus family,” said Westwood. “We are prepared, and we will continue to provide the same high level of service and customer care during these circumstances.”
In line with Simplus’ value of Stewardship, we are hosting a full calendar of virtual remote activities, from Bob Ross Night to Simplus Wellness activities, to keep spirits high and culture strong
