The Challenge
As part of its long-term strategic vision, the Grace Materials Technologies segment sought to drive differential growth by honing its commercial engine. Specifically, Grace wanted to transition to a global, standardized quoting and pricing process on a standard global data platform in order to drive cross-functional efficiency and pricing guidance. Simplus was chosen after we demonstrated our CPQ expertise in an initial RFP and showed partnership and flexibility in breaking our implementation out into two parts: first, an Advisory & Design phase. Second, we picked up the build later to support Grace while it was going through an acquisition.

The Outcome
First, Simplus worked closely with Grace to understand its current pricing structure and functionality and its future vision for how processes should work in the updated data model with CPQ. During the build execution, Simplus turned the roadmaps of analysis and design into a reality for Grace. We stood up CPQ objects in a more standardized data model and configured functionality for a standardized pricing methodology. Finally, Simplus ensured the long-term success of these changes by providing post-go-live
support to Grace with training sessions across all end user groups.
