She’s a Disney know-it-all, a digital marketing guru, and our December featured employee—it’s Amanda Eddins! Amanda is one of our digital strategists for Marketing Cloud, and she knows her stuff. But more than her professional feats is her commitment to people, whether it’s her family and friends or her coworkers and clients. Learn a little bit more about Amanda and discover why she’s such a valuable member of the Simplus team:
What do you do at Simplus?
Digital Strategist on the Digital Practice team architecting Marketing Cloud.
What are some achievements of which you are most proud? Both professionally and personally.
My greatest achievement overlaps both personally and professionally. I am so very grateful for the people I work with now and have along the way that have helped me grow and succeed. Being able to do what I love with great people and all then all the opportunities it affords me in my personal life. Work hard! Play hard!
What are your hobbies?
I love crafting, home decor, and especially shopping for the two previous things. I’m also a Disney nut and have an Instagram account and a YouTube channel that encompasses all of those things.
Why do you like working at Simplus?
Like I said, the people I work with are a big part of why I love what I do. I appreciate the values at Simplus and that they brought our whole team on together last year. Plus, all of the people I’ve met since joining Simplus have been incredible.
Tell us a little bit about your professional background.
I started in IT, and eventually, that evolved into web development. I worked retail through high school and college, and seven years ago, I was able to blend my technical skills with my retail background when I took on a full-time email marketing role. Email marketing was just a small part of my previous job, and I never thought that would be my path or lead me to where I am today.
What do you feel are your greatest contributions that help make Simplus the best consulting firm?
I always set the bar as high as it can go. Nothing can be short of perfection and must absolutely satisfy the customer. I care very deeply about the work I do and expect nothing less.

I’ve seen every episode ever made of Little House on the Prairie
My husband and I updated our Facebook profiles to ‘married’ during our wedding ceremony.
